Howdy, folks. Fire-Heart here. I'm not usually one to ask anyone for help--especially financial help, but I'm workin' myself ragged doin' commissions that are mostly paid for while I struggle to find work with a ruddy Bachelor's Degree in English/Writing and other currently useless accolades! I've been outta work for months and I can't support myself, at this rate... so, I need Patrons... I'm deeply glad for the support from my tiny group of commissioners, but I can't keep livin' like this when I don't make quality art as fast as other artists. I'm a year outta college and almost broke for the 2nd or 3rd time. I need more support or I may end up homeless... π Yes, I'm dead serious. I may soon be ending my art career for God-knows-how-long, and swimming in student debt, if I don't get better finances, fast. So, I've opened up a Patreon for any generous soul who can spare a bit of cash. https://patreon.com/user?u=91256867&utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=join_link I promise y'all in return, early viewing of practically any of my artistic works-in-progress:
I draw characters! Anime, anthro, digital, traditional! Pen, pencil, ink, digital + more! 'Draw & design armor! Weapons! Monsters! π₯ Here's some of my best work:
Landscapes! Big set pieces!
(Huge drawing or digital painting like this take weeks to make this well!) π¦ and additionally, as thanks for being a Patron, becoming a pre-reader of my original Fantasy/Western genre blend, novel-in-progress, Down to Terra: Wolf in the Glen that I hope to develop and publish (when I'm not feeling like I'm on a sinkin' ship with only a bucket to bail out the water...), currently sittin' at ~12,400 words, spanning 56 pages, with a cover art! That's not bad for a budget of $0, right? Sadly, I can't keep writing it in my current situation... Here's the story pitch and the cover art (Featuring the main character, Mr. Grey):
"Wolf in the Glen" is a Fantasy Western that stars Mr. Grey, whoβs a grizzly, rough-around-the-edges, yet warm-hearted mercenary that specializes in the hunting of magical creatures. Heβs especially potent since heβs one himself. Mr. Grey was driven out of his home in The Valley of Glen when he was accused of being the murderer that killed his wife, Daffodil Grey. He fled with their daughter, Luna, and left her in the care of a spellsword university, then returned to shadow his wifeβs funeral from afar. After that closure, he slipped off into the wilderness, only returning to leave carnation flowers on the anniversary of his wifeβs death every year, until one day, heβs approached by an old friend who desperately desires his help with a case: Saving Glen from a terror thatβs quickly turning Glen into a ghost town. Will the past be put to rest with the dead or will Mr. Greyβs past haunt him indefinitely?
Terra is a setting featuring, but not limited to! Hillbilly elves, a single father trying to support his daughter in a harsh wilderness, magitech (much thanks to the Dwarves), zany Fantasy politics like kobold (goblin) railway union protests, werefolk (such as werewolves) prominently known as "Therians" who struggle to fit in a society that finds them distasteful, due to a lack of understanding (reflective of being Autistic), war priests! A tragic murder mystery, doggedly-determined reporters, gunplay from monster hunter mercenaries! Hunting the likes of dragons, griffons, trolls, and more! Last, but not least: More zany Fantasy politics in a Western-style setting that reflect and parody and/or satirize real life, like Halfling Scout cookie turf wars (if there's ever a sequel... or a first book before that...)
π ...Once more, please consider supporting my art/helping me pay the bills/my student loans, so I ain't end up homeless. If you do, I will be in your debt. π€ Either way, thank you kindly for your time and consideration: https://patreon.com/user?u=91256867&utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
