Howdy, folks. Fire-Heart here. I'm not usually one to ask anyone for help--especially financial help, but I'm workin' myself ragged doin' commissions that are mostly paid for while I struggle to find work with a ruddy Bachelor's Degree in English/Writing and other currently useless accolades! I've been outta work for months and I can't support myself, at this rate... so, I need Patrons... I'm deeply glad for the support from my tiny group of commissioners, but I can't keep livin' like this when I don't make quality art as fast as other artists. I'm a year outta college and almost broke for the 2nd or 3rd time. I need more support or I may end up homeless... πŸ˜“ Yes, I'm dead serious. I may soon be ending my art career for God-knows-how-long, and swimming in student debt, if I don't get better finances, fast. So, I've opened up a Patreon for any generous soul who can spare a bit of cash. https://patreon.com/user?u=91256867&utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=join_link I promise y'all in return, early viewing of practically any of my artistic works-in-progress:

I draw characters! Anime, anthro, digital, traditional! Pen, pencil, ink, digital + more! 'Draw & design armor! Weapons! Monsters! πŸ”₯ Here's some of my best work:

Com - Hello Mustang~
Patrol at Twilight
Showdown at Castle Kyron
Beckonings from the Dark
Com. - Blaze Jr. Redesign
Com - Gerhard the Griff for Niv

Landscapes! Big set pieces!

Sheer Cliff Mountain -- Palm Tree Panic Zone
Com - Sonic Fanfic Cover Art for Crazy Greg Films

(Huge drawing or digital painting like this take weeks to make this well!) πŸ’¦ and additionally, as thanks for being a Patron, becoming a pre-reader of my original Fantasy/Western genre blend, novel-in-progress, Down to Terra: Wolf in the Glen that I hope to develop and publish (when I'm not feeling like I'm on a sinkin' ship with only a bucket to bail out the water...), currently sittin' at ~12,400 words, spanning 56 pages, with a cover art! That's not bad for a budget of $0, right? Sadly, I can't keep writing it in my current situation... Here's the story pitch and the cover art (Featuring the main character, Mr. Grey):

Wolf in the Glen, Cover Art #1
"Wolf in the Glen" is a Fantasy Western that stars Mr. Grey, who’s a grizzly, rough-around-the-edges, yet warm-hearted mercenary that specializes in the hunting of magical creatures. He’s especially potent since he’s one himself. Mr. Grey was driven out of his home in The Valley of Glen when he was accused of being the murderer that killed his wife, Daffodil Grey. He fled with their daughter, Luna, and left her in the care of a spellsword university, then returned to shadow his wife’s funeral from afar. After that closure, he slipped off into the wilderness, only returning to leave carnation flowers on the anniversary of his wife’s death every year, until one day, he’s approached by an old friend who desperately desires his help with a case: Saving Glen from a terror that’s quickly turning Glen into a ghost town. Will the past be put to rest with the dead or will Mr. Grey’s past haunt him indefinitely?

Terra is a setting featuring, but not limited to! Hillbilly elves, a single father trying to support his daughter in a harsh wilderness, magitech (much thanks to the Dwarves), zany Fantasy politics like kobold (goblin) railway union protests, werefolk (such as werewolves) prominently known as "Therians" who struggle to fit in a society that finds them distasteful, due to a lack of understanding (reflective of being Autistic), war priests! A tragic murder mystery, doggedly-determined reporters, gunplay from monster hunter mercenaries! Hunting the likes of dragons, griffons, trolls, and more! Last, but not least: More zany Fantasy politics in a Western-style setting that reflect and parody and/or satirize real life, like Halfling Scout cookie turf wars (if there's ever a sequel... or a first book before that...)

😞 ...Once more, please consider supporting my art/helping me pay the bills/my student loans, so I ain't end up homeless. If you do, I will be in your debt. πŸ€— Either way, thank you kindly for your time and consideration: https://patreon.com/user?u=91256867&utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

Shucks, it's sure been an awful long time since I last made an entry here. Usually too busy with college work or tryin' to have a social life, in spite of it, to post for 'ya and I feel guilty 'bout it, sometimes. I'm done with this term's Finals, and passed my classes, so hallelujah!

I'm (hopefully) going to have time to post between now and the end of next week and I finally found a replacement charger for my camera, so I've got some art that's just raring to be posted! Downside is, almost none of it has to do with my fan characters...but I did post something ASAP after Christmas that y'all might like t' see if ya' haven't yet! I meant to post it last year, but urgh...Christmas is one of the short vacations outside of Summer that I get to spend with my brother, so yeah. I didn't get 'round to finishing it for the exact same reasons, but ohmygosh! PROGRESS! Am I right?

Jenna and Lianna's Christmas - Colored WIP by FireheartTheInferno

I have some 3D models I made using an online program, but those aren't related to my Sonic fandom expansion series-in-progress, "Prowlers For Hire" (Y'all still remember those characters, right?). Also, as far as I know, my last project redesigning the main character, "Mace Direwolf"'s (nigh) final design (5.0) collab' with TheShadAmyArtistO10 is (unfortunately) on hiatus until Summer. That's when I get most of my character art done when I can't sneak it into my assignments...I'm sometimes tempted t' show people my "master outline" of my would-be fan comic for review, but I get skittish at the thought. I mean, shucks, 'almost makes one feel like they're exposin' themselves in public--which, in a way, it kinda is. Except, it's a deeply personal part of my mind. (Fair warning: It's lengthy, a tad blunt and somewhat complex.) 'But hey, if you're interested anyway (and if still have people keepin' an eye on my work who'd care enough 't ask) I'd be willing at this point to review some folks for who might be a good critic. I kinda lost touch with my last one...'Not sure if she even comes around anymore :/ ('I apologize for bein' so cynical. I'm actually in high spirits right now. Honest as a mirror! I'm just bein' honest and up-front about my personal doubts). ^  ^;

TL;DR--'Point is, would anyone be interested in some paintings I've made? One of them's a really cool post-apocalyptic type one in warm colors. OR would there be interest in me postin' hand-turned prints I created in Printmaking class? Perhaps the drawings I made for Design and Drawing II? I can't post stuff of the model I drew for my Drawing II class, 'cause I don't have her permission (yet), but I have other drawings from there I could post. Such as drawing of hands, feet, random concept sketches--Oh and I also have some Illustrator files I used to make digital signs and their concept art! Great stuff, actually! I even made some Doctor Who fanart for one of my assignments! :D Haha! 'Jolly good' stuff, there! ;) One last thing; the majority of ya' wouldn't be upset for the most part if I posted a couple pieces MLP:FIM-related art, would'ya? Sweating a little... *waits for crickets to start chirping*

Hey, folks! I've been working on some new sketched and I've made time to start uploading art again--including works that fell at the wayside, which I had meant to post, but couldn't find time for back then, such as a watercolor painting, and a piece of Fullmetal Alchemist fanart and one character I had planned to draw a few years ago; Izo the Black Panther Shinobi (Ninja) (my other character,  Cassiopeia's cousin). Although it is a work in progress, it's mostly finished and I've already made more progress since I made the scan. I hope you enjoy!

P.S. If anyone is interested, I would be very willing to post links related to/pictures of the live action roleplaying projects (weapons and shields) of my friends and I. They made be homemade foam armaments, but they're not bad =)

'Got off my second day of work at my new job with College Pro Painters today (four, ten-hour days--excluding our half-hour lunch and weekends off) and I'm really liking it! My manager and co-worker are both friends I knew from High School (they're fun to talk to and be around, because they make work feel a bit like play) and my boss is a real laid-back guy. It got so hot today that I took my shirt off and I might as well use the job as an opportunity to get nice tan--on my upper body, at least. I've already learned proper painting/priming techniques, how to caulk, how to safely use/plant a ladder--get comfortable working on them, as uneasy as it was at first, being over 30ft off the ground on a wobbly ladder, how to paint while on a ladder, and safety equipment while on the roof and some other matters I can't remember right now. I tell ya; I much prefer being on the second story in a harness with a rope with safety equipment attached attached (it feels a lot like repelling, except you're standing on the roof) to being over 30ft above the ground on a wobbly ladder. Also, I made sure to keep hydrated, despite the fact that (at some point) it literally being about 103 degrees outside. I sweated a lot and got dirty, but it's good, honest and very decent paying work--if we get our work for the week done early, we get bonuses (our wages worth payed for every hour we had left over to finish!)
I think we're back on schedule today, so that's good. Now we can to paint the house, put 2 coats on the trim, coat the door once (but I'll probably do it, because I need to learn how) and the deck, then we're done! Oh! I'm really hungry to get that bonus! I can almost taste it! The more money I get the more classes I can pay for to go towards my Bachelor of Arts! I'm already sighed up to attend online classes from EOU this fall (including a Digital Design class, so hopefully I can quickly learn how to maintain my quality of work, while increasing my pace more and more--that way those bonuses will be ours and I'll have even more money for classes! If I do well enough the first week, I may even be considered for a manager's position--but that's a lot of responsibility--and it looks good on a resume, so I'll mull over on that one.

Once my work week is over, I'm going to try to continue my collaboration with :icontheshadamyartisto10:, redesigning the main character of my work-in-progress fandom expansion series of Archie Comic's Sonic Universe; Prowlers For Hire, which I someday hope to make into a webcomic; Prowlers For Hire: Mace Direwolf ( V2.0: ) firehearttheinferno.deviantart… ( V4.0: ) firehearttheinferno.deviantart… Mace is desperately in need of a new ressesign because I've been meaning to make Mace 5.0 since not long after I finished Mace Direwolf Version 4.0. I have a strong feeling that I will consider (Fire-Heart) Mace Direwolf 5.0 his final design. His new design definitely looks great so far--Ila and I are coordinating well together. I hope she joins me in creating an image of him for his new profile (the first one is 6 years old and somewhat outdated) or just as importantly, Amelia 2.0--which will be an even more drastic change in comparison, because due to personal and practical reasons, I'm thinking about changing her species to wolf (with golden blonde fur, instead of pink) firehearttheinferno.deviantart… and adjusting her backstory accordingly. Anyway, I definitely look forward to finishing Mace's new design, so we can show you all!

As always, your thoughts are welcome ^  ^

Sincerely,
Fire-Heart
